WHY THE NAME?
In 2012, I brainstormed for a company name for my design & marketing business. I spent many mornings hanging out at my favorite local coffee shop in Wilmington, NC, writing down my business ideas and goals. As you can see, there is no marketing gimmick behind the company name. Why not combine things I enjoy the most?
That's when Marketing for Breakfast was born.
We've worked with a wide range of small businesses and individuals. We care most about satisfying our clients' needs and will go the extra mile to meet their specific requests. Get in touch and see what we can do for you today.
Kelly Mercer is a designer, marketer, and photographer behind the "Marketing for Breakfast."
A bit about Kelly
Kelly graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a bachelor's degree in Marketing. She has always been interested in graphic design, web design, photography, and illustration.
Her earliest digital art experience was when she was seven years old, drawing on the MacPaint program on her Dad's Apple IIc computer in 1984. As you can see, her computer skills have evolved into today's technology using Adobe programs on her MacBook Pro!
Kelly is currently a full-time Graphic Designer for a local print shop and studying Interior Design at The Interior Design Institute. Before that, she worked as an in-house Marketing Graphic Designer for a service-oriented company for nine years and designed a website and graphics for a local residential design company for eight years. She enjoys freelancing - helping her busy clients achieve their marketing and design goals!
She has had other creative endeavors. One of her creations, Rock n' Roll beaded bobby pins, was featured in the Real Simple magazine in their December 2009 issue! She specialized in handmade jewelry and sold them on Etsy from 2007 to 2020. Over time, she developed her product photography, e-commerce, and blogging skills.
